How to Set Up Recurring Chores in FamBoards

Automate Recurring Chores

Many household chores happen on a regular schedule. FamBoards lets you set up recurring tasks so they automatically reappear after completion.

Setting Recurrence

When creating a task, toggle Recurring and choose the frequency:

• Daily — Task resets every day (e.g., make bed, feed pets)
• Weekly — Task resets every week (e.g., take out trash, vacuum)
• Monthly — Task resets every month (e.g., deep clean, organize closet)

How It Works

When a recurring task is marked as complete, FamBoards automatically creates the next occurrence based on the recurrence schedule. The completed task moves to the "Done" column while the new instance appears in "To Do."
