    How to Invite Family Members to FamBoards

    Inviting Family Members

    FamBoards is built for families, so adding members is simple. Each family member gets their own account with role-based access.

    Using the Invite Link

    Navigate to Settings → Family Members and click Add Family Member. FamBoards generates a unique invite link that you can share via text, email, or any messaging app.

    Member Roles

    • Admin — Full access to all features and family settings
    • Spouse — Full access to all shared features
    • Kid — Age-appropriate access with parental oversight options

    Kid Accounts

    When adding kids, you can set their date of birth and the oversight age threshold. Kids below the oversight age have a simplified dashboard focused on their assigned tasks, reading, and messaging.

    Quick Kid Onboarding

    For younger children, admins can create kid accounts directly without requiring the child to go through email registration. Simply set a username and password from the settings page.
