How to Add Birthday Reminders for Family Members

FamBoards automatically tracks birthdays for all family members who have a date of birth set in their profile.

Setting Up Birthdays

Go to Settings → Family Members and ensure each member has their date of birth filled in. Birthday events will automatically appear on the family calendar each year.

Birthday Events

Birthday events are marked with a special 🎂 icon on the calendar. They include the member's name and how old they're turning, making it easy to plan celebrations.

Surprise Mode

When creating birthday-related events, you can mark them as "surprise" to hide the event from the birthday person's calendar view — perfect for planning surprise parties!
